Napa Valley

Hestan Vineyards is named for Helen and Stanley Cheng who purchased a former cattle ranch in 1996 and immediately prepared the land to plant grapes. They took special care to divide the property into small blocks to take advantage of the sites’ sun exposure and soil drainage capabilities. In keeping with the Chengs’ commitment to land stewardship, both the vineyard and gardens are sustainably farmed and 100% solar powered. The total property spans 267 acres but only 110 acres are planted with vines so there is a lot of untouched space around the vineyards. Hestan Vineyards has some pretty impressive vineyard neighbors including Caymus, Wooden Valley, Kenzo Estate, and Jarvis. The winemaking team is led by Thomas Rivers Brown who worked at numerous wineries including Schrader and Tor before consulting for Hestan Vineyards.

In addition to the wine sent to 672 members, Hestan Vineyards also makes Hestan Cabernet Sauvignon, Hestan Sauvignon Blanc, Hestan Chardonnay, Hestan Grenache, Stephanie Cabernet Sauvignon, Stephanie Proprietary Red, Stephanie Merlot, Stephanie Petit Verdot, Stephanie Malbec, and Vincent Christopher Pinot Noir. Hestan Vineyards wines are available at their tasting room in Yountville or through select distributors in 12 states. Please visit them at www.hestanvineyards.com
